Crimson Desert launched on March 18, 2026 and Pearl Abyss has kept a roughly weekly update cadence ever since — 30 patches through version 1.14.00 (July 16, 2026), which added cross-save. This page tracks every patch, hotfix, and major update with change logs.
Patch 1.14.00 — Cross-Save Update
Major UpdateIntroduces cross-save across PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games Store, alongside bug fixes and stability improvements.
- Cross-save added for PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, and Epic Games Store — continue your progress across platforms with a single save file (Mac App Store support arriving later)

Hotfix 1.13.01

Patch 1.13.00 — New Gear & Abyss Access
Major UpdateMajor content drop: Oongka and Damiane gain Abyss access, and 39 new pieces of equipment arrive alongside expanded dyeing options.
- 39 new pieces of equipment: 20 boss outfits, 16 armor sets, and 3 headgear for Kliff/Oongka
- 8 new armor pieces for Damiane, with boss outfit access
- Oongka and Damiane can now enter the Abyss

Patch 1.12.00 — Outdoor Housing Update
Major UpdateAdds outdoor house decoration with 58 new decorative items and new crafting tools, plus new equipment and expanded abilities for Damiane and Oongka.

Patch 1.11.00
PatchQoL-focused update expanding pet registration to 100 pets, easing the Pinball minigame, and adding controller button customization.

Patch 1.10.00 — Re-Blockade Overhaul
Major UpdateOverhauls the Re-Blockade system and adds two minigames plus growable Wyvern and Kuku Bird mounts.
- Two new minigames: Pinball (Delesyian Institute inn) and Orb Roll (Great Gate of Urdavah), with prizes exchangeable for crafting materials and furniture
- Wyvern mount and Kuku Bird Chick pet added — both can grow into special mounts after feeding
- Re-Blockade expanded with "Battle" and "Reconstruct" stages; stronghold liberation now rewards contribution and trade goods

Major UpdateAdds pond construction with fish breeding, the Baby Wyvern pet, a dedicated tool equipment slot, and muskets/shotguns for Kliff.

Patch 1.06.00 — Special Mounts
Major UpdateIntroduces tameable special mounts (bears, wolves, lions and more), an equipment material extraction system, and unarmed combat skills for Oongka.

Patch 1.05.00 — Boss Rematch & Re-blockade
Major UpdateIntroduces the boss Rematch system (Reminisce/Resonate modes) and Re-blockade stronghold content, plus two legendary pets.
- Rematch system: refight bosses exactly as first encountered (Reminisce) or with scaled stats (Resonate)
- Re-blockade feature with Stable/Conflict/War frequency settings across 13 factions and 23 strongholds
- Two legendary pets: Iron Eagle and Hyacinth Macaw

Patch 1.04.00 — Difficulty Options Update
Major UpdateAdds Easy/Normal/Hard difficulty settings, large storage furniture and wardrobe systems, bird pets, control presets, and inventory category tabs.
- Three difficulty modes added: Easy / Normal / Hard
- New storage: Sturdy Gatherables Chest (1,000 slots), Kuku Coolers, Collectibles Chest, and Wardrobe outfit storage (up to 1,000 slots)
- Selectable house layouts unlock with Camp expansion level

Hotfix 1.00.04
HotfixPS5 hotfix for character-switching bug and Mac Steam crash fixes.
- Fixed an issue where switching from another character to Kliff caused certain interactions and actions to not work correctly.
- Fixed an issue on Mac Steam where crashes would sometimes occur when completing quests, starting the game, or exiting the game.
Patch 1.00.03 — Major Update
Major UpdateMassive update with boss difficulty adjustments, new fast travel points, Private Storage, combat improvements, and console performance fixes.
- Fixed Chapter 2 quest "Reunion" where the cat would sometimes stop leading the way.
- Improved Chapter 4 quest "Mysterious Pot" — the symbol now briefly stops when reaching the correct position while repairing the ancient generator.
- Fixed "Turnali's Request" where the quest would not complete if a Bekker Shield that had already been refined was refined again.
- Reduced Health and Attack of specific early game enemies and main quest bosses.
- Adjusted attack and health of boss T'rukan the Ascended to an appropriate level.
- Reduced Stamina consumption for blocking attacks.
- Lowered difficulty of ambush encounters triggered while heading toward the Reed Devil boss stage.
- Adjusted certain attack patterns for Kearush the Slayer.
- Increased stun gauge accumulation on bosses upon a successful parry.
- Boss weakness effects now display even if the player has not acquired the specific knowledge.
- Fixed an issue where fire arrows failed to ignite enemies on hit.
- Added more Abyss Nexuses across the continent of Pywel to improve fast travel via teleportation.
- Added Private Storage for storing inventory items, located at the initial temporary lodgings in Hernand and at Howling Hill Camp.
- Recently viewed cutscenes can now be fast forwarded more quickly.
- 120Hz output has been separated into an optional setting, only available with a 120Hz display and sufficient bandwidth (e.g. HDMI 2.1).
- Default refresh rate changed to 60Hz for stable image quality.
- Fixed an issue where resolution and upscaling settings were not retained when restarting the game.
- General controller responsiveness improvements.

Patch 1.00.02
PatchFirst post-launch patch with Chapter 3 tutorial improvements, QTE difficulty adjustments, and bear damage fixes.
- Added a tutorial quest at the start of Chapter 3 to help players learn about Abyss Gears.
- Improved usability for certain systems and content, including Housing mode.
- Adjusted QTE difficulty when captured by enemies to gradually increase based on capture count.
- Recently viewed cutscenes can now be fast forwarded more quickly.
- Fixed an issue where certain quests would not progress properly.
- Removed the bear's instant-kill damage and adjusted its overall damage.
- Fixed an issue where the number of Greymane comrades owned may be displayed as lower than the actual count.
